Family Time

Hey guys!

I hope everyone is doing well, I know I am.  I’ve lost almost 10lbs over the last 2 weeks by tracking what I eat.  I’ve said this before in the past, but i’m a fan of MyFitnessPal.  They make it so easy to track what you’re eating by letting you scan the barcodes of most items.  If you guys are wanting to get serious about dropping some poundage, I highly recommend using that app.  If you want to creep on me check me out, username: musclerevive (odd right?).  If you add me as a friend you’ll be able to see my diary where all the food I eat is kept.  That way if you’re look for meal prep ideas you can get a taste (see what I did there? = )) of what you can eat throughout the day.

I know we can’t be the only parents who have busy schedules.  When your goal in life is to trim up and get fit, it’s easy to put the ones you love to the side even if it’s only for a little bit.  Now when I say side, I don’t necessarily mean side (kind of difficult to explain here), I mean other things in your life don’t get the attention they should.

That takes us to the most important stuff in life – family!  Sarah and I are making a bigger effort in 2016 to spend quality time with Bentley.  How do we do that you ask?  We are putting down our phones for at least a half hour a day when we get home.  It may not sound like much, but before you know it that half hour turns into an hour, which turns into a couple hours, etc…   During that time with Bentley we’ve decided that we would play whatever he wants to play.  No surprise to us, it’s always cars or superhero’s.  Check out our video and give us some feedback.
