I am not a product of my circumstances, I am a product of my decisions.
As I sit here getting ready to write my first post since who knows when, I keep thinking, how did I get here, and what happened?
I started this year very strong and dedicated, and then what happened? I wish I could really point my finger to a particular circumstance or point in time where things went wrong, but ultimately it was my decision to STOP and go completely backwards.
I gave up eating right and I stopped going to the gym. And the result from this?… I currently weigh more than I have in 4 years!!! I haven’t seen 160’s since after I had my son!
So…where do you go from here? Where do you find your motivation again? What pushes you to do better?
Well, I started with my basics. I started eating right again. I track everything that enters my mouth. And as hard and tedious as it is, it really does help to think about everything that you eat.
Next, I got back in the gym. I’m VERY sore and feel super weak. Even though I feel intimated again, I have to remember that this is for ME! I am doing this for ME.
My Goals?
-Weigh 135
-Complete in a competition
-Meal plan
-Workout 6x a week.
These are my goals! I am going to make sure and write them down every day so I don’t lose sight of what I want.
I am not a product of my circumstances, I am a product of my decisions. -Stephen Covey
